Dude.

I can't tell whether the bugs are intentional or not, but the one that sends you back a level after dying in the dark level made me stop playing after about the 5th time. Mindless repetition does not make for good gameplay.

So, obviously I haven't finished it, but except for that one annoyance the other oddities make this game original and unique, and there's this eerie quality to the whole thing that I find highly enjoyable.

HapPie responds:

Patience my friend.
Or you could play the clean version I'll soon release.

The only problem . . .

. . . is getting stuck. I don't mean the occasions in which the the clones take the high ground--that's just being challenging--I mean the glitch that happens occasionally when jumping against a wall.

Other than that issue, the game IS challenging, but quite amusing and an original concept. And, for the record, I LIKE the graphics.

Nice idea

Using echolocation is quite original, but execution could have been better.

The main problem is the way the ship moves; we've all played asteroids, and we expect the up arrow or W to move us forward, not necessarily up.

Other than that, a larger stage with more of a shooter gameplay style would be welcome if you make a sequel.

Good idea, could be improved.

Really, a well-done game, the drawable sword-strokes being the best part. Moving, however, is painfully slow, and I found that I would simply draw a sword slash to ensure that he would run where I wanted. A minimap showing the entire field would be useful for avoiding archers who might be farther away than I originally scrolled. The art was good, though aiming at the enemies in the watchtower was--probably intentionally--challenging, and though I know the point-and-click is more intuitive most of us are quite capable of moving with W,A,S, and D and using the mouse and the shift key at the same time. This has been a much longer paragraph than I usually put on these reviews, but then this game was exceptional, and overall a good start as a meld between side-scrolling and strategy. If you make a sequel, I'm sure it will be the full package.

OMFG . . .

. . . which is the same thing I said about ether cannon. I love the way the ship changes appearance with the upgrades, and how the shots are actually faster than the ship this time. Adding the space station to defend prevents the "fly in the same direction while shooting backwards" strategy from Cannon, and overall the feeling of suddenly being thrown into this chaotic--though, may I say, BEAUTIFUL--war just about made my day.

wow.

At first I was thinking it was far too slow, but as soon as I got all the power-ups and learned howto use them in combos, the waves started getting bigger and faster. I did not expect the kamikaze cubes as the final iteration. Good game!

Here we go . . .

Potential is the key word here. Larger, more complex levels; enemies; perhaps gameplay on the navigation map since you have to fly to the next planet anyway; and, of course, a storyline would all be welcome. Your art is rudimentary right now but you seem to have a style going here, so I await the full game.

Twist-Chao06 responds:

The Character, Ship, Planets and Design are all temporary. and i still have a long way to go, so there will be enemies and stuff like that hopefully.

thanks XD

Don't listen to them.

I don't care that you got the idea from crayon physics. The idea bears repeating, anyway. I just love this stuff. Especially the open-endedness. I can build a trebuchet from multi-colored blocks and throw the ball to the flag, even if a simpler solution is there.
The only things that could make it better are:
1. Friction, please.
2. Auto-scrolling for bigger levels!!!

Overall, great job.

DUUUUDE

Just in terms of the look this is amazing, but the SPEED! the SPEED! It's so much more demanding than the previous Indestructotanks.

Surprisingly awesome

Much better than the first impression; fun, challenging, addictive, looks great, and the physics ain't bad, either.
I know it's part of the aura of the game, but just a liiiiitle bit faster pace would add the "Oh dear God" factor.

Wow I need to upload some stuff when I get the chance.
