What if...

...y'all made a sequel? I know it's a puzzle game, but if it had a story, power-ups, maybe some more variety in the objects you can use and how you use them, etc, it would rock even harder than it does now.
I'm gonna harp on the jumping as well. OOOOOH here's an idea for all puzzle game creators: make a "frustration" button which just lets you kill things for awhile to relieve stress. For instance, throw crates at stuff when you just can't land those jumps...
Anyway, greatgame, keep it up!

What was that?

Ok you have a good idea, here but HOW do you get past whatI assume is a boos on level 3? He just hits you-- thus freezing you in place (which is annoying to start with please fix that)--then jumps into the air where you can't touch him! And if you tryto run away (and I did), he can run twice as fast as you anyway! WTF why did you make the first boss (if that's what he is) so hard? Also, when a boss appears, you shouldn't have to fight zombies at the same time. That's just un-sportsmanly.
Fix these problems, make the motion and sound more realistic, and maybe make it bigger, and you've got a good game.

SecretSecretary responds:

First of wall, there is a walkthrough on my userpage, check it out. Secondly, you can basically play the game like you want to. You can first get rid of all the zombies and then fight the demon, or you can do them at the same time which I find quite fun. The demon is really easy to kill once you know how, and you CAN hurt him while he is jumping over you, just use your axe or the horse's hooves. That's actually the way to kill him, but check out the walkthrough where you will find a detailed explanation on how to beat that first demon, one of many many more to come later on in the game...
Thanks for the review!

Please

Fix that cursor death thing. Without that this game would rock.

Aaaarrrgh

1. I was a huge fan of the original, so I'm REALLY glad you made a sequel (especially since I can use the old tank's look).

2. I LOVE THE BOOM BAR! That thing is awesome. I can stay in the air till I'm practically out of Fuel. Rock on!

3. What the hell, why were the first two missions easy enough to get through in one try, when the last one took me like 20 tries? Also, that last Boss is sadistic. Just when you only need one more jump to kill it before your fuel runs out, it switches to the tractor beam. It's like it's laughing at me. Grrr.

4. Ripping off of Star Wars for the last plot twist...I LIKE IT! :)

Anyway, super-awesome-fantastic game. 10/10

Worth Waiting for

I give it 10/10 as a rating of how awesome I know the final product will be.

Other than that, I repeat what the other guys said about conservation of momentum for projectiles and some form of notification that your ability to ram is ending, and would like to add:

Since those little trailing orbs represent your lives, maybe have them do something when you lose them. For instance, explode and kill the orb thingy that hit you...

Put shit in the way! (A straightforward way of saying: have objects in the levels that alter gameplay--walls, tracks that speed up/slow down you and/or your projectiles, maybe mines that you can shoot at to blow up nearby enemies & yourself if you're not careful, etc.)

Group behavior in the smaller enemies.

Extra lives as a power-up.

Different point awards for differently-sized enemies.

Overall, again, good game.

Annoying

Okay, the graphics were good, but this not-being-able-to-aim-while-moving thing needs to be resolved.

This is hard!

Great Game! Good graphics and gameplay, but I kinda suck at it.

CerebralGames responds:

Thanks LordBojangles, try the other weapons :D

You tricky thing you!

level 16 (it was 16, right? The one that was similar to Operation, but with rollerballs of death and two jabb-n-bladers?) took me 53 tries. Arrrr.

Good, challenging game. demands a good feel for your mouse, lol @ the bird level.

smokinjoeevil responds:

Heh heh... yeah, level 16 seems to give people the most trouble. The great thing is standing behind someone playing who has just been telling you how the last N levels felt like hell... then they see 16 and just slump in the chair like they were just realizing defeat. Fun stuff.

Glad you liked it.

Wow I need to upload some stuff when I get the chance.
